Traction Devices + Sway Bars

Can I run a traction device (say a cal-trac bar) and a sway bar together or will the rear end bind on launch? I would like to keep the sway bar because of the street mannors but i need something to eliminate the wheel hop that these cars are known for (2nd gen F-body stock leaf spring suspension).
