i bought a efi big shot mustang kit, and what to use the solenoids on a edle rpm plate! that plate is good for 250 and the solenoids are two! (cheater solenoids!) can you mix the two eld rpm plate with nos cheater solenoids? and if so whos jet mapp do you use?

Well, since the flows are more likely to be effected by the solenoid orifices, i'd be inclined to go with the maps for the solenoids you use. But i would approach it VERY cautiously and pay close attention to the plugs, and be sure to err on the safe side with the tune.

Edelbrocks 250 shot is a 99/102 jet, NOS is a 93/102 jet. Id use the 93/102. The 99/102 might be around 275+ and will be on the lean side if the NOS nitrous solinoid flows better then the edel. A little reading to compare jet sizes, this is from ZEX, they are using their plate with different brand solinoids-kits.

so would it be wise to use the map for the solnoids/ or for the plate?

i sounds like the right thing to do is use the maping for the solnoids!

both plates are twin bar and i think they has the same amount of holes in them can any one tell me if they do or do not!

iam thinkin i should sell the kit for the efi and just buy a new kit to be safe /but i do have every thing to run it carbed so? what the hell do i do? i see people running mixed nos kits all the time how do they do it with out blowing ther shit up?

Well, if Edelbrock told you to use their map then use it. 99/102 will be fatter than 93/102, so you should be safer starting there because you'll have more fuel in the motor. Based on the Zex link above, it appears that the NOS Cheater solenoids flow a little better than the Edelbrocks. Do what the plugs say from there. Actually, i'd start at a lower shot and move up. 250 is a pretty big hit to start with. I'd try 100-150, just to get the hang of things first. With some experimenting, you'll figure out what kind of spread the plate and engine likes. If you want some timing advice, PM me.

the Nos is the lower number

Yeah, i fukt up. The lower number is the N2O, not the larger. The 93/102 tune will be the safer starting point of the two....like nos2go said.

PM box has room now......
