1955 ford truck cab, fenders, doors, small trim. What do you mean shop blasting (sand) blasting then no. There use to be a place over by green bay that acid dip but they went out of bis.

No it's actaully not sand its a combination of steel shot (like a tenth the size of a bb) and grit. I work in a steel fab shop and it's how we prep all the steel that gets paint. But ya for body work it's a little too abrasive
don't dip anything that boxed, like rockers.

I'd avoid soda blasting also, unless you know the place will some how assure and warrenty it will be properly neautralized, and like dipping, watch out seams. Some paint manufacturers are even going as far as to say not to soda blast and void their warrenty if soda blasted. Probably the safest would be a competent media blaster, and believe it pretty affordable and should be able to find places to do. Every method has it advantages and disadvantages.

I don't have time for that  J/K I want to get every thing down to bare metal inside the cab. The truck is very clean it just has been baking in the sun for the last 30 years.
