sorry Ididnt post sooner but the painkillersI am on knockd me rightout.Here is the outcome of my visit to the doc today.

I am going in for a pre-surgeryphysical the beginnning of the week.


I have some bonespurrs in my rightshoulder that have to be removed.

These ar e causing alotof pain when Imove my arm.

The pain is alot better with oxy-contin but the downfalls this stuff reallly messsing me up!!

Holy crap, sorry to hear that. Obviously you can't hold out as long as you wanted to. What's going to happen with the shop now? Did you get enough people that you can trust to do the work for you?

I am working very close with some other chassis shops that have approached Tuff. Believe me there was alot of them that did at WIR/RSD. All Tuff has to do is decide on which one.

We are getting Tuffs car ready to be picked up so he can get it to another shop so he can race this year.

I really want to see Tuff at the track racing, an will do the best I can to see this happen. I have also offered to help that shop when I am better.

As far as The TINT Shop goes, that will not be affected. I have a tinter that has been with me for about a month now. She is basically running that shop.

my wife has had that surgery twice now. not pretty. you wont wanna even wipe your donkey for about 6 weeks. send you home with a pain pump piped into your shoulder. that comes out after a week. have to sleep with arm in a sling. i feel for you man! take care of yourself!

Damn that sucks man , I did my time in a body cast 9 months {sheesh}
my advise to you is get off those pain meds . ASAP !!!! they will mess you up big time .
get active as soon as you can get out and walk to keep the blood movin .
Drugs like oxycontin and morphine only take part of the pain away but screw your head up so bad , you won't heal up as fast .

I have had tremendous luck with off the shelf stuff like Aleve takes the edge off the pain and you can still function .

I had a girlfriend who was addicted to pain meds . it was not pretty . she was always in pain til I flushed 2 coffee cans full of drugs down the toilet and had a intervention with her parents etc.

funny how she got all better after that !???

The doctors kept on tossing drugs at her evrytime she had a ache or pain
most of which was caused by withdrawl from all the other crap she was on

On a nother note I got to meet Metz last week. We talked some an he really opened my eyes up alot. Hes a great person to deal with!!!!! Hats of to Metz!!!

I want to thank everyone for all the support!!

This is only gonna be a minor set back. I have had my shoulder scraped an cleaned of bone spurrs before. I know it will be very difficult for a while.

Well I havent posted in awhile but I do have good news. I have recieved 2 of my 3 shots in my shoulder an next week I will recieve my 3rd an final one.

These shots are a gel type liquid that is injected to keep the bones from rubbing one another. Kinda like what they do for the knee before they replace it.

My shoulder is feeling alot better an we are moving right along at the shop.

We will be updating my site shortly with alot of new stuff.
