WANTED: 302 engine plates.

I need engine plates ( mounts) that bolt the the engine ( 302 ) . This is for use in a fox body mustang and I already have Moroso Solid motor mounts. HELP!!

why do you want to run the plates?

You need them for solid motor mounts. The stock motor mount is a 2 piece design. They unbolt in the middle. Dan needs the upper metal piece that bolts to the engine. The new solid mounts bolt to this piece.

I ended up calling MPS in GA for these when I had my ASP mounts. Just tell them you need a set of "broken" mounts and they will understand. I think I ended up paying $20-25 for them shipped. Everywhere I called locally didn't have them, and none of the junkyards keep them, goes straight to scrap.

For $30 I can get a set of new mounts and just unbolt the top plates. There are a couple of "old school" salage yards around here that might have something. I'll keep looking. Otherwise we can steal the ones off of Jim or Eric's car:D:
