C4 and Convertors....help out a 5 speed guy please!!!

OK, I'm asking for a friend, I know zip about automatics. He has an 88 GT with a 347, TW's, Vic Jr, 750 DP carb, hyd. roller cam, 3.73s, and its a C4 car. Its main use is a street/strip, mainly street car. Can you guys give me some suggestions as far as convertors, trans upgrades, etc? Thanks-Danno

Billet servos,kevlar bands and better clutches.I believe they also make a better input shaft for them.On converter depending on how wild the cam is.I would say about a 2800-3200rpm for converter.

imo the best thing to do would be to buy a built one from either dynamic or Performance Automatic instead of just putting a few upgrades into his current one. both these company's offer differant levels from street strip to dedicated drag car trans.
