Some guy gave me shit for lighting the top two beams before he was staged, I was just trying to cut a light in Red's car before eliminations started. He asked me if I knew what common courtesy was and that I should go back to street class if that's what i was going to do.

So when he left I asked him: "So how did you do last week", he said I lost first round, so I piped in " Yeah I know I took you out". It was priceless. My .027 to his .191, he is a real racer. It was funny. Wish I would have drew him first round.

Mike James almost fell out of his chair!!!! :funnyshit:

The last round for the pro cars was cool...

The jet funny car ran in lane #1 and one of the alcohol funny cars ran in lane #2. Both ran low 7's @ about 200 it was actually a good race for once.

That first jet in lane one was flying, 6.70's at 274. The jet in lane one went into the trap on the top end, he was still doing 100+ mph up the shutdown area!

the last time i raced him it was 3rd round on july 5th. it was my .008 to his .086..........and my 12.309 on a .28 on brakes hard to his 11.61 on a .59.

he better think about going back to street when he looses to rookies like us. this is only my 2nd year running hot rod and i know where he and i both sit in the points............he's a ways back.

but not really anything to worry about. the people that i asked about him all said he was a little "different".

Totally blew it Sat. night. Wasn't "watching" the tree right. Then I look in the paper and saw that Steve Keller won Hot Rod........ with a .078 light. If I don't go at least .04 I'll get hammered. Lucky is always better than good.

I can't beleive that. I guess it's par for the course. I guess it's time to just go for .08 up to about .180 lights and have everyone else bulb it against me or screw up other ways.:argh:
