I decided i'm just not cut out for motorcycles. I'm having some serious problems with my arm and it bothers me even days after i ride it. So either the bike needs to go or i need to have surgey on my arm, surgery is not an option right now. So up for sale is a 2006 Suzuki SV650, EFI 650 V-twin, under 800 miles and in great condition. Has a few small scratchs by the grab bar from a bungy cord, but other than that is showroom new. No trades please, just looking to pay it off. $5200 OBO.

Oh and i forgot to mention i have averaged 47-51mpg with the thing !!!

Call or e-mail for more info 920-410-7576, bohn333@yahoo.com

Thanks Dan

Bohn, if you really want to keep the bike, I can give you some insight on how to make it a bit more comfy. SV's are very good for that. I have CT in both wrists, loose shoulder joints, bad knees(one really bad from a wreck last year), rods in my back, and I'm generally beat to hell.

I tour on a ZX-6R(average 500+ miles/day). Also, it isn't really costly to do. It's little things that help, and some adjustments.

I do really like the bike, its a blast to ride. I just went for a 20 mile ride around town and my hand is numb already. Doc says i have thoratic outlet sydrome (basicly when i put pressure on my shoulder or have it elevated it cuts off ciculation) All i know it is a pain in the ass. It even bothers me when i play with the radio stations in my truck on the way to work. I know i need to get it taken care of, but unfortunately my insurance thru my work is not the greatest and i have a very high dedutable. So i guess i'm kinda stumped at what to do. Keep it and hopefully make it comfortable to ride or just part with it and go on with life. I'm probaly gonna take it down to the dealer here within the next week and put it on consignment.

OMG :thud: I've had that **** for 15 years
that's why I ride mine at the dragstrip more than the street :thumbs_up
but I will take a 160 mile trip to the U.P. now and then .
last september i even did a round trip in one day LOL !
yes it is painful and yes your hands feel like **** for an hour or so after the ride but it is in the blood and I for one have to do it every chance I get .
I cannot live without a motorcycle or snowmobile !!! :foshizzle

I have to agree with 1badgtp :thumbs_up

I've been down on the track quite a bit(was actually trying to go pro at one point). Not to mention some major car accidents and bike accidents on the street.

I've got something similar going on in my right shoulder too. It even has spots where I hit a point where it won't move any further. I have to drop my arm down and move around those spots. It's friggin weird, and no doctor has been able to explain it. Maybe I'll mention what you called it Bohn, and see...

Anyhow, let me and UP know what you decide, and if you keep it maybe we can help.

myCBR600 gave me numb hands after 20+ minutes of riding. It has something to do with the circulation in my wrists I am sure..

I have to literally shake my hands to regain circulation. Damn old age.
