I was going to go but with the heat/humidity and t-storm's I don't think I'm going to waste the gas just to get rained out. This weather really didn't need to come this weekend. :ripped:

Ended up going dispite the heat. They definately put on a good show. There is nothing cooler than a 7 second "street" car. I couldn't run with the big boys so I ended up bracket racing and remembered that wasn't as fun as heads-up. During the third round I decided I had enough and sprayed the car and during the pass had thought's of lifting but like I said it was only a thought. I ended up giving my opponent a free pass to the next round even though he didn't deserve it with his .208 light to my .018. Oh well, I guess there is just not enough excitement in going consistantly slow for me.

It was a great show with the OSS. Those passes in the 7s were fun to watch, if your on the big end you can see how they skate around between shifts. It was good to see the show boat, still NO SHIRTS?????? Went three round and got spanked by a .024 to my .1?? but theres next week. Sorry Shane I didn't get to see your pass, I was coming down the return road with the trailer heading home. I don't know if it rained or not they said it would.

What's with the .1??? You knitting a sweater while the light's were coming down?

If you really want a shirt, P.M. D CON. He would be more than happy to take your order.

With the five point belts it hard to dial the radio. What I need is a newer one with push buttons. Do they make a radio with a AM and FM select. The one I have in the truck has the tubes style, so it take a while for it to warm up when you turn it on. I was checking on the weather.

The outlaws were by far the most awesome show I've ever seen down there. I seen the ole Showboat throw down a nice pass and his car sounds like a grandma car compared to anything else running out there.

I'm having a hard time getting used to the new bike , and I drive it like crap still LOL!!
friday night I thought I was going to skate off the track 3 times wild rides for sure . The Halloween Express driver came to my assistance and helped me get my wheelie bars and stuff set up . I owe that guy a big thanks for helping me not get killed on the track :hail:

I lost in the 1st round by .086 because I anticipated 4th gear and shifted before my light came on :dunno:

The bike was not running up to par either {way too lean }I managed to get a 10.67 out of it my second time run in the heat of the day .

I got a lot to learn in a hurry with this bike :horse:

I had a great time there. The OSS sure do put on a good show. My car was slow with the heat and big head wind. I am also having alot of trouble getting it to hook on the launch. I lost in the first round because I went to fast. I am not used to hitting the brakes in order to win a drag race. I did lift on the throttle just before the end and slowed it down by 5 mph, but I still broke out by .03

I had a great time as well. Outlaw Super Stocks RULE! I think my car ran pretty good for the first time out with a totally new combination. Now if the driver can remember he put the reverse pattern trans back in it will probably work alot better! I still have a little high end sputter in it, next time I come down I'll have new plug wires and I will lean it out a hair more. Best pass for the weekend was a 10.75@114 on the brakes first round on a 10.80 dial. But I still beat the Showboat to the stripe! (Sorry Shane, I gotta rub it in!!) The car went 122mph friday night and I know theres more in it. I'm pretty happy with it so far considering it was 90 degrees outside with a 15-20mph headwind!
