i got my car already and i thought some what tuned ran great took it out and busted a piston the motor ran for 2 hours on the break in stand at the shop i had it running for less then 45 min in my car and i drove it to the corner and it started nocking it broke the piston by the ring lance would timing being off take a piston that fast i didnt hear any spark nock either it never went over 4000 rpms either :confused:

depending on the cost and if the block is ok it should be done

Yes it could or poor grade of fuel.This is where engine dynoing would had saved you.

Did you check the end gap on the rings.???? Depending on the pistons used you would need some were around .004 for each inch of bore. KB will use a lot more ring gap than others.
