posi rearend?

:help: I just picked up a complete posi unit rear axle for dirt cheap and open up the housing and notice that one tooth on the spider gear is chip.Can I still run it or just scrap it? It's 41-17(teeth) I think thats like 2.41 gears :help:

You don't want to run it if you have a chipped tooth.
