What are your experiences with them?

I plan on switching to a single plane and a decent solid roller. Would one help me at all? I also have a 1" 4 hole and a 1/2" open. Just looking to see what I can try at the track next year.

I think I finally found a decent set of heads, so watch out I might get into the 12's. :typer:

I had 990 casting heads which are rectangle port 119cc chamber with 10.2:1 496ci. With that I ran a comp cam solid roller that had 267* @ .050 and .680 lift on both intake and exhaust. I started out with a Team G and switched to a Dart intake and didn't notice any difference at all. I also ran a 1" four hole just for the ease of changing NO2 jets. It seemed to work well for me. 3600# car ran a best of 10.82 and consistant at 11.00's.

The HVH stuff is supposed to be the shiznit. Ive never heard a bad word about them, except price. Alot of guys have seen some pretty noticeable gains with them, I'll see if I can dig up some info.

i personaly have good luck with them never had one not make a engine more power i would stay away from the single plane intake if you want it to stay streetable in your application

Are you guys just talking about plain old carb spacers, or the HVH one? Theres supposed to be quite a difference between them.

I ran one on the truck and i'm pretty sure i kept in when i sold it. I'm pretty sure it was HVH, i remember paying alot of money for it.

Spacers are weird. Some engines like them and respond well to them. Other engines loose power with them. It would be worth it to dyno it with and without a spacer and see what it gets you.
