View Full Version : 1984 Malibu Station Wagon??

SOOOOOO.. I have been thinking about building a Malibu and wondered what you guys think . Any and all praises or critisism is appreciated.

I found a 1984 Malibu Station wagon, rust free and in damn near PERFECT shape. It has the 265 V8 in it and an automatic.

I would throw a 472 or 502 in it and an automatic ( TH400 I guess) and a small pocket shot of spray. The rear would have to be changed to a 12 bolt or 9" for sure.

I am not 100% keen on the wagon idea though..but I don;t want to shoot the idea down right away either.

Would I just be better off looking for a Camaro or 2 door Malibu instead?

Two words: Brady Wagon.

I personally think it would be a cool project.

It would sure be something you don't see everyday. Imagine leaving the hubcaps on it. What a sleeper! :wink:

do the wagon, we all seen how good they run (brady wagon) i also threw in a pic i thought was kinda cool of a old nomad
