I have a 1967 'stang that has been restored by myself, for some reason the back of the car sits crooked. The problem was apparent shortly after the car was completed I was lead to believe that my springs were bad so I replaced them front and back with brand new stuff.. Problem not fixed, can someone possibly shed some light on this for me. Any help or ideas would be great :wtf:
Did you replace the trunk floors or the rear frame rails??

Did you tighten the leaf spring bushings with the cars weight sitting on the tires?
Try loosening the leaf spring bushings a bit.....bounce the rear of the car and then retighten with the car sitting on the ground.
If its a different rear-end are the spring perches welded on straight?
Are both shocks good?
You could always remove or add just one leaf to adjust the rear ride height.

Which side is higher? What kind of springs are they?

I'm going to go with 67Mike's theory about tightening the bushings. I had the same problem in my 65.

I don't think they make super stock springs for a Mustang buddy, lol.

it is the passenger side that sits higher. they are new shocks in the rear . I also put in shackle kits because the ride was low after resto. "the common old 'stang stance, lower in the rear than in the front" but thanks 67mike for the info on loosening the bushings I will give that a try and see what I come up with. Thanks Guys
