i believe its because the gas filler cap is in the roof.
I'd never buy it or drive it, but i have to give credit where credit is due, if thats all truely custom made sheet metal, that guy has some talent, that is an awsome and very creative fabrication job. I work with sheet metal everyday and that dude has some damn good fabrication skills.

I saw that car in the parking lot at iola this year....i couldn't stop laughing when i saw it...but no matter how bad it looks..the attention to detail is amazing, if only the parts were spread out to about 7 different cars...then you might have 7 ok looking cars..instead of one spaceship.

I think we all need to move the fuel door to the roof. The filler tube coming through the passenger compartment is just one more thing for the kids to play with. Time to pull the windstar into the garage.

I know the guy that built that car, his fabrication skills are unbelievable. Now imagine a prostreet interior and chassis fab. His work is beautifull and although I am unsure why he built that Honda he has turned out some incredible old iron also.

wow it amazes me what people are thinking sometimes. What shocks me is the number of bids that are on it. I guess one good thing is you should be able to find it in the parking lot. A lot of kids these days are into sticking some weird looking stuff on their cars.
