1996 polaris 800cc storm 3cylinder fresh engine 300 miles ago new paddle track, clutched , piped , boysen reeds, shaved heads, mild porting,sled comes with asphalt drag setup skiis and slick track . never raced the sled $2000 obo .
I almost forgot it has a custom paint job that cost almost as much as I'm asking
Also the engine work cost over $1000 all good stuff wiseco pistons and sleeves . I had the engine sleeved for future big bore kits etc. I wish I could keep it but I have it in storage and I don't have a garage to keep it in so it's gotta go

I can attest to those Storms. They suck as trail machines, but I had one that maybe Darrell remmbers.. a storm 800 with a 980 big bore kit.. ran in the 800 open class with it and also attempted some top speed runs with in in 2000. I beleive my best was 138 MPH , but more was in it.. They are FUN snowmobiles!!

I had a buddy acouple years ago that had a storm. I don't think it was that bad of a sled. I know some people looking for sleds, i'll pass the word on.

Don't get me wrong it hauls ass top end {it doesn't start cleaning up till 80 mph :baa: } I put a good whoopin on a 1000 T-cat with it , but it is still a turd in my book :baa:
