:werd: Beautiful country out that way. Did you go throught South Dakota and Wyoming? Lots of cool shit out there. Badlands, Black Hills, Powder River Basin, etc. Idaho is an awesome state too. Lots of hot springs and shit like that.
Some day when I grow up I am going to live out there!

I bet I have you beat Jim. 4200 miles or so in the last 2 weeks. All went well until one of the egr sensors gave up it's life in southern alabama. 3 1/2 hours I was back on the road. Ended up getting home at 4 am, after I got on the road at 8am. The ol explorer got respectable gas mileage though, over 20 on the way up cruising at 74mph, and about 15 towing the trailer back down.

Last summer - Drive from my house to Missouri to see an old friend and go to WFC. Rained the next day. Decided to go west instead of sit in the rain at WFC. Drove to Colorado then to Las Vegas then to California. Turn around, go back to Vegas. Then go to Idaho and Wyoming. Then the Dakotas and then home. Needed 2 oil changes through out that trip. All in 8 days. Motor was well broke in when I got home. Only had 6xx miles on it when we left. Averaged 25 mpg the whole trip. I love Mustangs! Comfortable, little bit of power and good mileage.
mine got 14 in the mountains, and mid 13's everywhere else. don't ask me why either, i don't get it myself.
