2003 WIR banquet.

i was wondering if there was a date set in stone yet for this. the wife and i were tossing the idea around of going to the world drag expo in st charles this year, if we go we need to make reservations soon. last year it was the same day as the banquet.

The banquet will be on January 17 at VanAbles in hollandtown.
All racers will be getting an invatation in the mail end of Nov. or begining of Dec.

No offense Danny cuz the WIR banquet is always a blast with great people but...

Jim I think you guys as a family will have more fun at the Drag Expo. You will really enjoy it and I know Carol will be glad to show Jodie around the malls and spa they have there. Bring lots of money though you will need it. Its a nice place and you will get a rate you just tell them you want the "government discount" you will get the rooms for about 100 bucks. We always go for 2 nights we leave friday afternoon and come home sunday morning. I have some friends in the area we always have a good time but the beer at the bar will kill you. I remember paying 5 bucks a shot. But remember this is a resort in the Chicago area.

You have to go to get a trophy, if you get one, I dont remember. Otherwise I will have to go. Keep me informed on the drag expo anyway.

we can always go down to the one in georgia the week before the banquet. let me know if you'd be interested in that. you and i could just fly down for the weekend and fly back.

If you are unable to make the banquet and have a trophy or money coming, I will hold it for you and you can pick it up at my house( at the track).
Have fun at the expo if you go, otherwise I will look forward to seeing you at the banquet.
