that site is alot, i just want like one dude, who knew what he was doing, what he put in, and what he got, kinda website, i want to run an automatic, i want to know what kind of stall they used, what tranny, all of it, i dont' really want to search through a bunch of guys talking crap, like a website of a guy making progress on his car, that would be best, iam very very new to the ford world, i have owned a 406 small block firebird, a 396 bb camaro, i have a 66 nova2, ive had two 87 monte's, ive had three mustangs, but never did anything to them ever, just maintence, never even looked into what could be done, i dont' even know what years came with what rear ends? or engines? or anything really. ive looked at flow charts and decided i want to make a light car, with a turbo small block ford, soo i have a rolling chassis 87lx

i dont' need the turbo stuff, i had a pro charger that i paid a lil over 4000 for, for my bb camaro, but i sent it back and saved the money, i sold the bb camaro, bought a chassis, and the turbo kit stage 2 pictured above, the one above is stage one, and stage two cost more then the pro charger kit i had, i want to hear about what pistons, crank, stroke, rear end, gear, tranny, to use, not what turbo kit to get cause i got that

What do you wanna know? Are you running a stock block? What about rotating assembly, building a new engine? What else do you have for trans, rear, fuel, ignition, etc? You dont really need a turbo website, theres enough info here to tell you whatever you wanna hear. otherwise, TurboMustangs.com is the best around, you wont ask a question that hasnt been answered on there already.

Don't crank the boost up on the stock block. You will surely split it in half thru the lifter valley. Its common. Leave it at about 9-10 psi. If you are planning to make a bunch of horsepower I would strongly suggest an aftermarket block. More initial cost but keep in mind if you torch that production block all of the metal chunks and shavings will run thru the turbo. You'd be lucky if the only salvagable parts are the heads and intake.

you can also run a inline oil filter set up between the motopr and the turbo to catch anything that might let go and get into the turbo..judd had this set up on his mini van
