Nope, not me..............but I wish it was.

This tranny thing has been kicking my ass all summer. We put my TH-400 back in last weekend for the 4th time, took it for a ride Sunday and guess what? Same shit..............will not shift into 3rd gear under full throttle!! Ive taken it back to Dave from Comp Products 3 times already.............not going back to him again.

We are going to try putting Mijal's tranny in my car Friday, and lots of odds and ends to finish up.
Hopefully I can make it to the track Saturday.

Im scared to make any predictions. Its been a long time since Ive made a pass down the track........and that was in a 13 second car. Going to take a few passes to get use to the car and the feel of the track.......... then im sure there will be plenty of little bugs to work out of the car to get things "right".
I would like to run some fast times, but you all know to well how the first time at the track with a new car goes.

I just hope its a fun, safe day hanging out with my friends and making some passes.

Why wouldnt one take their trans directly to Germantown and drop it off at Hip's? I heard he has a guy that does TF's too.

how about just take it apart and rebuild it yourself! Automatic's are a piece of cake!!! Just make sure you set the clearances properly or it will end up like the last one I did........which was covered under warranty of course.

Thats exactly what I am doing this time. I already called Hipster(ATD) on Monday and got all the details. The main reason I am taking it there is because they have a tranny dyno to test the transmission after they rebuild it. Im sure as hell not going to get it rebuilt again and then "hope" that it works when I put it back in my car. Ive played that game too many times this summer.

i will te ll you what if your building turbo 400s for $350 your not building much of a trans jeremys was $600 with manual valve body and andys was aroun $900 with me making little to no profit remember thats no coverter either so i am with d con slow down and think while you do your home work and for $350 are you going to stand behind your work man ship becuase i will

It says............."I" have $350 in "MY" tranny.That doesnt include converter or valve body that I had already.Trust me, it works just as good as andy`s.And where did I say that I`m gonna start building transmissions for other people?
