I've got a 700 R4 with a TCI manual valve body in it it slips going into third sometimes I was wondering if it could be something caught in the valve body or if it's something in the tranny just trying to get a cheap fix for this if I can so i can save up money to but a TH 400 in my car

most likely the 3-4 clutch pack. it is most likely starting to get to much clearence.

Thats what my teacher thought were going to rebuild it next week in class
any suggestions on other little things to do when i have it apart
i've already got a valve body in it and the servo is supposed to be the same as the one in the corvette but if it's not i have one that came with the valve body should i use that one? the trannys out of my 89 Camaro
