After a dismal race year of close 1st round losses, .003, .009 and so on. Whats being refered to at Byron as the sneaky Stealth, found it's way to winning the finals and a $500.00 payday. I can only say racing is fun but winning is funner.
way to go sparrow!!!!!!!!!!! i have 3 chances left this year to pull off a miracle.
i see rick fuller was runner-up in pro too.

Was funny as hell monday. I have never in all my years of racing seen a car line up 3 inches from the wall and stay there the whole trip down the track.
As the announcer put it.... "thats Guy Sparrow lining up against the wall, as you can see he a little different"
Guy was awesome, sorry I couldnt stick around and visit and celebrate with ya but we both had to work this morning. Way to go buddy!
My weekend pretty much sucked.... I broke or went through or had to fix this
1. MSD 7 al 3
2. Starters.... 3 of them
3. cracked my ignition coil
4. broke and got fixed my front ladder bar mount...
5. timing light..... was showing 34 degrees but was really 44 degrees
I went up there first round both times with no real time runs.... got lucky on one and broke out on the other.

Great Job! Interesting driving style, kind of like watching the Cup boys at Darlington. lol Ron was sure having fun with it in the tower. My first trip there in some ten plus years was uneventful, and left me quite miffed. I entered the no box Super Pro, figuring everything should fall into place nicely. !st time trial I get up there and take off with a red light. I think no problem .490 something. Get my slip and it's a .413.........WTF!!! I went back to the starting line and then saw that there was no mesh over the lights, I thought that was a common thing now. So with just the one time trial we dropped tire pressures, rpms and a few other things. .560 light but the car ran .05 off 1st round That doesn't match up to a .52 and .02 off run. So we're out of there. Didn't feel I was clued into the starting line to pay a $60 buyback either so sat and watched 3 more rounds and enjoyed the nice weather. Lots of WIR racers there enterd in Pro and did very well. Dave Hardy got I believe 8 rds on Sat.
During my time trial I raced a car like Tuffenuff's. Was he there?????? Pretty cool leaving the line with a guys front way up in the air.:shft:
