What kind of power levels are you at or shooting for?
There are some newer styles out, I have a Fidenza flywheel, its SFI rated and has a removeable friction disc area, so instead of getting resurfaced, you just replace the area. If you dont have a real crazy setup, you can stick with stock and have no worries IMO. If you can swing it, of course an aftermarket SFI unit would be better.

its an inside joke, a lot of aftermarket fly wheels have holes in them, light weight, inertia, all that

drill some holes in it
sounds like a good way for it to fly apart at high rpm and cut your foot off.

it all depends what you have to spend, its very hard to do, but when you build a car you should have a budget, and everyone wants to do soo much, but keep it realistic, and if you love the car, do what you think should be done first, in my opinion, i think anyone should hook up the suspension and drive train up first, cause everyone knows you can make five thousand horsepower, but your not going far if you can't put it down, anyways, yea blah blah blah, do what you have the money to do, make a realistic goal for the winter or whenever you can, and do that

Suspension done,Tire combo works well,New motor this winter way better than stock,Had stock clutch and bell housing fall of this year.Launched all the time on the drag radials at4000 rpm.Now new motor will buzz to about 7-7500,Intake down new. That's why I ask About flywheel.

Get a billet aftermarket flywheel, either steel or aluminum. A fidenza Billet Steel witht eh replaceable disc can be had for about $230. Email ScatStroker@hotmail.com for awesome service and price, thats AD Performance. Great guy to deal with.

:smoker: try to go with a light weight set up your car will accelerate better and not fry the tires so bad when you launch
