I posted this on the ricerfourms website:
I was at the track tonight (GLD) ........there were some ricer turds that showed up

one of them was a HONDA accord.....it ran a WHOPPING 18.6. The guy was hot lapping all night ( he didnt even stop to go to the bathroom) When all of the sudden.... KAPLOOY!!!! He windows the block!!!! Oil, coolant, trans fluid....EVERYTHING was leaking all over the track. aaaaand YES, Like the dumbass he was, he drove ALL the way to the end before stopping.

I didnt care that it took almost an hour for the track guys to clean it up.... I didnt have my car there,so it didnt bother me.

The BEST part comes RIGHT after they start running the cars again....one of his friends driving a HONDA CIVIC goes down the track (Running another WHOPPING 18 sec. pass) when he gets 1/2 way down and BBBBBLAM! his hood flies up and smashes his windshield!!!!!! I thought I hurt something because I was laughing so hard!

You ricer guys ARE entertaining sometimes!!!!

Mostly annoying.....but when you do stupid things like that,I have to admit,it IS funny!

Ricers will NEVER replace Muscle cars!

you have to give them credit for trying!! Sometime watching is more fun than racing..its fun to see other people(IMPORTS) stuff blow up!! Its even worse when they trailer their 18 sec car to the track, and....what the hell is up in the pits, one day I went and saw 10 different pit spots that had a bucket seat and a rear seat sitting out in the grass, I guess that 40 lbs they saved got them into the 17'sssssss, I dont get it !!

very good, musical chairs!

I still say the easiest way to get an Import into the 11's is to tow it behind my car! I need a little rear-end weight!

hey, imports can be fast too.... and 40 pounds is alot when your car only weighs 1780.

Not really, it just depend on what import yu go with. My cousin dumped $8k in an 84 Regal and did a 383 stoker, and my Talon TSI AWD with only $3800 in it smoked him. Both prices include cost of car. So, it really depends on how it's done.

true, I was meaning the cost of turbos/computer work etc. and all the time tuning. Its all in the combo either you get it right or you totally bomb it.
