:pat: how true is the rumor that WIR is not going to have a streetbike class next summer ???? I heard all bikes/sleds will be racing together in the same class .
I'm not too keen on racing against a 8 second bike :nervous:
I really don't like the thought of one coming up behind me out of control and taking me out with him :hammer:

I think they should have a street bike class. I raced my R1 at rsd and it was pretty fun and I love to watch them. You should not have to worry about them coming behind you and taking you out. They will be well ahead of you before they dump it if they are in the 8's. You will have to worry about hitting them.

Yep, street bike is a must. Street bike and pro bike are two different animals. If they are going to combine them, they might as well combine all of the door car classes.

I assume this is Sat. night bracket racing, or there would be no need for classes........So just to make things straight, the faster bike/car will be chasing the slower one, both arriving at the finish line @ the same time.
Hence the slower bike getting wacked by the faster one from behind.

 Yes it is for the Sat. night brackets . I plan on racing for the points this year and would really like to do it in a streetbike class I'm just not ready to step up to racing against the pro bikes yet . :help:
I plan on stepping up to pro bike but just not yet :spinem:

..the faster bike will be playing catch up, so it will be behind you most of the way, I think Id be more worried being the guy leaving 2nd, if the guy out front lost it..you would have to try and avoid it, if the guy in back loses it your still moving( and probly have no idea) - I dont think the wreckage is going to catch you.

Last summer I had a turbo busa go by me at 168 mph . I tell you he was going so quick that if he was messed up his bike could have been upside down and it still would have went by me ..... :nana:

The biggest issue I have is I want a streetbike class . not a combined cluster ☺☺☺☺ of streetbike pro bike and sleds . if we do that why not just put us all in one group hot rod , top eliminater and street should all run together also

that busa was BADASS!! i heard he sold it after a couple of races.
as for the classes that may run together...........just run them faster bikes out the back door, that's what's nice about being a slow bracket racer. :rockon1:
