Is it a waste of time and money to run ladder bars on a leaf spring vehicle?...like an S10.

I'm not sure about a dragstrip application, but they really help keep axle/spring wrap to a minimum on lifted trucks, especially if they use lift blocks in the rear.

If you are going to use ladder bars on a leaf spring vehicle, you must use an axle floater or the suspension will bind. Unless you are running in the mid 10 second range, don't waste your money.

Good old slapper bars will do . I'm going to make some upper bars for my S-10 . Kind of like the upper bars on a 4 link setup :spinem:
