i just went to rapids for a cruise in the impala to get a bite to eat tonight, went for a drive down the main drag, got by the parking lot where we all sit for rapids car show, the entire lot was full of muscle cars!!!!
there were lights set up, music, some guy on a microphone that sounded like he should work in a strip joint, and trophys all lined up down the front sidewalk.....what the hell, dont they advertise???
i did a drive by, went down a couple blocks, turned around, started heading back tward parking lot way when i got to the stop lights... light turns green, i stomp on it, all of a sudden the car does like a posi slide to the right!!! while not spinning, i let off, and the car slides to the left??
so i pull over to look at whats going on, leaning out the door playing with the gears watching the back tire.
looks like i blew the control arm bushings out of the rear end.... was kinda scary driving home, oh yeah, all this car show stuff was going on at 9:00 at night, it was cool.:shft: :shft: :shft:
