wanted 66 and older SBF heads

I am looking for a set of 260-289 heads they need to be the closed chamber heads. I think the 1966 and older are what I need. They are going on a 79 302. I also need to know if any one has done this before. I have the artical on cheap street heads, and this should work. All help would be welcome. Thanks Ralph

i don't have any of those Ralph, but i do have a set of 69 302 heads if you would be interested i could bring them to the track sat. so you could look at them. cheap too.

What I wanted are the 66 and earler heads with the small chamber. I would like to raise the compression on the 302. I have ported several set of later heads and there was a big improvement over stock. I would like to up the compression some to help with torque. The motor is a 79 truck 302 in a 66 stang with a 4 speed auto. He drives is a lot and gets 26 mpg. I keep trying to convince him to up grade to a real motor but he wants to keep the ford. I haven't looked real hard yet for some heads. I would think where are a lot of them around. Just need to find them. Thanks for the offer. Ralph
