Very possibly we will be selling performance parts at Flyway Automotive in Horicon. It is not definite yet. The final decision will be affected by feedback and profitability. We will be refilling nitrous oxide bottles for sure. As far as pricing on performance parts goes, we will be at or below Summit, Jegs, etc. Unbelievable? Believe it. I spend most of the day today talking with vendors. We will have access to over 140 vendors including all of the popular brands such as MSD, Edelbrock, Holley, NOS, Trick Flow, Dart, Barry Grant, etc. I want to have a decision made within the next couple weeks so your feedback is needed and appreciated. What I need from all of you guys is to post what your next performance part purchase will be so I can get some ideas. We have a minimum dollar amount for an initial purchase which is why I want your opinions. We will have a huge selection of in stock parts. Parts at Summit's or Jeg's prices that you can pick up now and not wait 3 days for UPS delivery. Comments, questions, part suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks!

Sounds cool but I find it very hard to believe you could be at or below Summit or Jegs.

I would be interested in some Cal Trac bars but I think they can only be bought direct.

hey Darrel.... here's the deal....
I currently have my Z stripped in preperation for a full on build. Now, if some of your vendors end up selling 4th gen camaro parts and LS1parts, i'd be down! Although, stuff like fuel pump, stainless braided fuel line, regulator, 5pt. safety harness, and little other stuff like that i would still be down for. Let us know!

also, i could care less by how much it beat summit/jeg's, just as long as i would be guaranteed the right part the first time :) and didn't have to pay for shipping ;)

anything performancewise that i can't get at any local place like autozone, or advance would be cool. holley carb parts...........you know how hard it is to find squirters in town here?

No big purchases planned in the near future for me. But I would rather drive 1 hour than pay shipping and wait 4 days for the order to come in.
I think it would be hard to come close to Jegs prices. The Earls dealer here in Point can get Holley performace products at wholesale prices and he said its only a few bucks cheaper than what Jegs or Summit sells for.

Darrell,

you could also get an internet connection there so people could ask you on the site if you have the parts they need in stock so they don't have to call.

Cool Darrell, I dont know what I will be purchasing next. If I build a new car ...alot. But I would rather pay a few dollars more and buy stuff local than send my money to a huge corporation.

Ya know I am always looking for sponsorship. #2 in IHRA right now and could have been in the top 10 for the nation had I gotten a little financial help to travle to the national events....maybe next year.

Good luck anyways I will definetly try to support it.

Brommo, hours are 8-6 during the week and 9-3 on saturdays. This may change if the deal goes thru.

Jim, we have an internet connection. I am at work using it right now. Something will be added to the Flyway Automotive (http://www.flywayautomotive.com) website.

Kevin, I can't promise anything for sponsorship right now. I have to make sure we can profit off of this first. This was my idea and Terry is giving me a chance to persue it. I have one chance to make it work. If I can't make it profitable then the program will no longer be available. Once we get everything set up, then you and I can talk about sponsership. Thanks for the support Kevin. I need all I can get to get this thing going.

I could use a MSD 2 step, front mount Motorsport Intercooler, castor/camber plates, and seats/5 point harnesses for the bird. I think its cool that you are willing to spend the time and effort to bring us performance without raping us on price.

Oh the raping is coming....just not in price....

LOL just kidding Darrel. I will do what I can to help out. I will know more in the next few weeks.

Things that need to be replaced like trac loc rebuilds good clutches and that sort of thing. The kind sof things that you will need right away when something breaks. I like this idea!!!

Actually, you are more likely to be sponsored by us than Kevin because you are at WIR every weekend. That is what we need. Local exposure. I am sure we can help Kevin out too. But promotion outside of the state is not going to help us much. It is a little early to be talking sponsorship but if this goes thru I will do my best to help a few people out.

My sponsorship would be a new windshield banner.

I will give more details when I see the price list from the distributor. When I know I can make it profitable and worth the time I will finalize the deal and give all of the details. I don't want to get ahead of myself here.
