I went to GLD on Tuesday and man did the track suck. i can't believe how bad it was. then i went back to the pit and all I heard was everyone bitching about how bad it was. So it wasn't just me. Do they not prep the track on week nights? i just figured I let you guys know so either they can do something about it or yoou guys don't waste the time driving like I did. 2 hour drive and I couldn't even get it to hhoook on motor let alone spray it.

RAIN has caused TONS of problems this year.

Mud/Dirt has been running off the farm fields next door and getting all over the staging lanes ,leaving a fine dust on the ground....the "street" tired cars then drag the dust up on to the track.( they have to drive around the water box)

ALL the VHT in the world wont help this situation. we need it to quit raining for a while and let the ground dry up a bit.

Then we can power wash the staging lanes and get rid of the dust.

Dont blame the track guys, they are doing everything they can to cope.

This was a major problem at RSD too.

Good call Tuff. I have always heard people complain about about GLD being slick, but I have run my best 60ft there. I agree with you 100% GLD does everything in it's power to make the track the best possible.

Before that I always got awesome traction. I just wondered if there was a reason. I saw all the water around. I think next time I'll bring some decoys and do a little duck hunting between passes. J/K
