terrible night................

i went out in the 1st round to a real good racer. Scott Jeager. My .080 to his .015 and the car ran a full .1 off. i don't understand it!!.

i ran a 12.27 in lane 2. then a 12.13 and a 12.17 in lane 1. so i dial a .15 for round one. draw Jeager so i go up 2 to a .17 and it runs a .26 in round 2. WTF????????????????????? I did everyhting right except hit the tree. the car didn't run, and i cut a terrible light.

Somers got beat by the same guy round 2.

this was the 3rd of the 3 race series. i was 4th coming into it with 12 points. the leaders had 14 points. i had a good chance to win $750 and gave it away.

That sucks! Was the last run in lane 1 or lane 2? Do you think maybe lane 2 is ☺☺☺☺ed up?

the last run was in lane 2. i don't think it's f'd up, but there may be a difference form lane 1-2.

Thats what I meant, maybe lane 2 runs slower than lane 1. How did all of the other numbers compare between both lanes? Were 60 fts and everything else pretty normal?

what really ticks me off is that in first round the lane 2 1/8th mile clock didn't work so i have no idea where the pass started to go bad. i did loose .03 in the 60' but lost .07 somewhere else along the line.

From my personal experience, lane 2 has always been faster for me, but I don't have a fast car so that could be a part of it. But it also seems that if something goes wrong it is in lane 2 at about half track. just my .02

Saturday night was one of the more puzzling non jet greaster nights at WIR in awhile. I was seeing lane 2 being .030 seconds slower in the et, but 2 mph faster. Some guys in Top were seeing ,o7 to .10 seconds difference. I noticed in watching round one quite afew cars running .07 off their dial in. That ususally doesn't happen. :shft: Traction seemed pretty good but you could see the cars skating around going down the track. This weekend with the Land Speed Nationals and 4 jet greasesters the thought of just staying home and doing some familyman things and drinking some beer sounds pretty good. :bna
