$45? Yikes! Yeah that is a pretty good price D Con but there is a place down here, actually the Mitshubshi dealer in Ft. Meyers that is charging $2.50 a lb! I about shit a brick when I heard that price. That is 1/2 of anyone else I have ever talked to. If I need some while I am up there though, I may have to come over and fill up, and take a look at Barney, since I have heard so much about him.

i don't know how they are making any money selling for 2.50 a lb.

i thought 40-50 was usually the going rate??

They can't be making much money from it. The cheapest I have found 60lb cylinders for is $1.88/lb. I have been researching it because soon I will be filling bottles.............at least my own anyway! The average across the country is about $4.75/lb. I have seen that some areas in California are as much as $6/lb!!!

This Mitshubshi dealer ship advertsies heavily on installing nitrous on any car for $699. So they must havea good volume of business to sell at $2.50lb. That is about a 1/2 hour drive for me, and there is a shop about 3 miles away that fills, but i haven't gotten a price there yet. I need to get the car running before the kit goes on. A few pieces to buy yet too.

When I had Mikes cycle shop, in Green Bay, fill mine he still froze them. Worse part was I had old bottle. They are taller and thinner than the new ones so he couldn't freeze them. Luckly I only worked a mile down the road then and would stick it in the walk-in at work and then just take it over.

Slobby is looking for snow removal work again this year. You should help a fellow gearhead out and give him a job.

He should mow his grass or is he waiting to plow it this winter :D:

true, I need to get out with it more, its just to much all at once to be controllable, I need a progressive controller.
