exhaust question

Well the wife wore me down. I had to get a four door family car. I bought a 2008 Pontiac G8 GT. I need to get a CAI and exhaust. Anyone local have a G8 with mods? Internet forums are full of opinions but few answers. I'd like to hear exhaust systems in person before plunking down big bucks. Many sites say the car is bad for drone with aftermarket exhaust systems.

if money is not an issue I would suggest a corsa cat-back or a kooks cat back, I have a corsa on my truck and it has no drone at all. Kooks is very good quality as well.

I've read that Corsa and Solo garantee no drone. I had a Gibson cat back system and shorty headers on my old truck. You could not have conversation at highway speeds. My current truck has 1 3/4" long tubes, 3" off-road y-pipe ande Banks 3" single out the rear side. It is pretty loud, but does not drone. My blazer is really bad, but with 3" dynomax sidepipes, that is expected. The 2.5" duals with headers and Hooker Aerochmbers on my '77 Pontiac Ventura only drone at idle.

The Corsa system, I've heard is tuned higher and sounds more "exotic" vs. "muscle car". Is this your experience?
