hello there my name is Brandon and for the past few years me and my dad have been searching for his 1988 lx 5.0 that he bought new. this car is what really made my mustang passion with the stories he told me about he just blew every one out of the water with her. we ran a carfax on her and she was said to have last been titled/registered in Rosholt. i posted many want ads in the Wausau area of craigslist with the vin number and carfax report. back in april of 09 i recieved an email from the person who said he owned the car.
this is the email:

found your message on craigslist, I have good news and bad news. my name is... , from Rosholt WI. I am the person who bought that car, back in 2005. I drove it home somewhere in the middle of march, about 1,500 miles and in Ohio hit a snowstorm, but that wasn't a problem. drove the car for the whole summer and enjoyed it very much. then took it out for one ride the next spring, 2006 and then put it back in the garage to basically rebuild it. now for the bad part, I took the car apart, no motor, trans, or axles left, all was going to be replaced with newer stuff. but it never happened, it sat on jack stands until last fall, then I sold the car basically as a parts car, I don't remember the person I sold it to. the front frame rails were pretty rusty, and there was a rip in the floor board underneath the drivers seat. I sent a couple pictures of how the car looked when I had it. yes it was a lx but soon after I bought it I turned it into a gt model. I didn't paint it but the guy i bought it from said that he did. if you would like to know any more of the little I know of the car feel free to email me and I will try to help you out any more if I can.
when i recived this email of course i was excited and devastated at the same time. so i emailed him back asking him if he could send me more pics and any other info he had on the car. i recived no response. i have also tried since then emailing he on several different occasions and still no resopnse.
