Helmet question

I posted on WIR's forum also.

I have a Snell 95 helmet currently. I only run RSD's lately, but my car number is for Hot Rod. According to WIR's site the Hot Rod class requires SN2000 or newer. I can't run in a regular program because I'll get booted for no bars, but I'd hate to not be able to participate in RSD's because of my old helmet. I know some of you guys have broken the rules way worse than I do, but have you had any problems with older helemts?

If you can afford it I'd get a new helmet. My head is most important to me.


If you can't afford it, just tech it in for RSD and don't run HR.

my head is important to me also. Is a SA rated helmet the way to go or will an M rated one be fine. I would be wearing the brain bucket daily during the summer, since I try to ride my motorcycle as often as possible.
