okay, im debating between the drum setup or the disc for my s15 jimmy. what would be the pros and cons of the two. thought about the disc setup but think it might be easier to do the drum setup seeing that the truck is already drums(brake plumbing)????

8.8 disc for sure would be my choice!
i have done three now and no big deal.
one fitting at the hose and thats it(napa) $.95
one Proportioning Valve (jegs)$65
napa u joint (split joint)$15.99
if your going with a 10' wheels you will need a 7.5 back space also.(weld wheels)

the only benefit to drums is that they're cheap and lighter then most disc setups

i can get the drum setup for about 70 and the disc is 115. as far as installing i shouldnt have to change the pp valve if i go with drums rite? i know about the driveshaft and the u joints.

Being as the truck probably had rear drums to being with I don't think so but you'll have to put it together to be sure.

For the little extra cash the disc has way less rolling friction! just my 2cents
