With a good tune people are getting away with 15 psi, key word being good tune.

The gen 4 and some gen 3's have better rods. The limiting factor seems to be the pistons and the thinner cylinder head decks on most square ported Gen 4's. From my understanding only the LSA and LS9 get thick deck square port heads

Also is it an auto or stick? They are different 6.2's. Fuel type? 91? E85? Fuel management?

dont know much about the car. just tryjng to find out for a friend of mine
