So i am in the market to make the Gn alot more tuneable, right now it has a chip with adjustments. But was told by my chip guy as far as he can go with it is it ,Time to move up to Fast xfi.So i have contact a buick guru familer with fast xfi(cal harline).I got a deal setup on purchasing the xfi unit,wbo2,harness needed to PnP,Have the laptop etc needed to run it.It will come with a base tune to my setup, and once it is installed i am suppose to call him to explain basics etc of it.Now i know some one runs FAST on here. How do you guys like it and are then any pointers youcan give me.I am excited to get it tuned more for driveabilty and see what is left in the car.Being i have not got to turn up the boost yet and get it totally dialed in....:D

I love the XFI. Alot easier to tune then the stock ECU. Only thing I found was that closed loop is only good for tuning the drive ability. The O2 can't keep up when at WOT which is probably why the stock ECU switches to open loop at WOT.

i had the problem off the air swirling to much when coming down from boost to idle. The maf would try to adjust but turbo spinning for ever do to ball bearings. It would cause the idle to surge high then low then high then low.So chip guy tried to limit the amount of block learn and it still didn't help so told me chip is not enough anymore. So xfi is next step with getting it to behave...

Is you BOV big enough? Even if the turbo keeps spinning, the air should be blown off when the throttle blade is closed.:frml:
