Does anyone have any experience with this controller? I have 8 psi springs in my waste gates and want to run 12 psi. Do I set the controller at 4 psi or 12 psi?

It all depends on the system layout, wastegate brand, size and flow priority. The AMS1000 uses the solenoids to control the desired CO2 pressure on top of the wastegate, not desired boost. **Most** systems need 2 psi on the gate to raise boost 1 psi. I would start in increment of 4-5 psi. After the first pass, you can then kind of judge what you need to get your boost level. Keep raising your 'gate pressure until you just overshoot or hit your target, then you have "bracketed" the CO2 level for X amount of boost. Even though we don't run one of NLR's controllers, the system I built works extremely like it. For example, we run a 18-20 pound spring to launch the car, apply 10 psi @ 1.2seconds, 20 psi @ 1.6 seconds, and then 30 psi at 2.0 seconds for a nice smooth ramp to 36 psi of boost.

Make sure to stretch out the pressure apply on the ramp in the 1000 over a little bit of time so that you get a nice log with a long data stream also...

Thanks for the info. I ramped 6 psi in the controller and only got an extra 2 psi which is the reason I asked this question. I guess the way it looks I will have to add somewhere around 3psi to get an extra psi of boost.
