I finally pulled my rear-end out after it broke at the last RSD. It was a ford nodular case. It broke 2 cap bolts and the caps. The replacement one is a yukon bolt thru aluminum case, says good to 1000 hp. Looks to be a real nice unit.

Very nice. The stock 3rd members seem to only be good for mid to low 10's. Everyone the I know that broke one was running around that time.

Wow! That looks very beefy. Did it come with the support too? Shouldn't have a problem with that one anymore. Just be sure you watch your fingers when you put that baby together!:thumbs_up

Looks very interesting, how many $ did that set ya back? reason I ask is that I'm in the market for something like it vs a complete nodular set-up from Strange or something. I know its a little more than what I need now, just weighing my options now. thanks, Corey

pretty nice stuff , I would be making a jig or something to mount it to for assembly things could get a little rough with it floppin around while your torqueing shit . lol!

we had a nice big one for the semi truck differentials .:usa:

I know a shop that has a piece of 1/2 by 2 cold rolled about 16 in. long with 2 holes in it, bolt to the face of yhe 3rd member-clamp other end to bench with c clamp or clamps, mega simple, 10 minutes to make it-including deburring time, and you're done, AND it's made in america:hyper:

On there site they list for $319.00 with free shipping I called and talked to the sales person because I also ordered pro gears, daytona pinion support and bearing install kit with a solid pinion spacer. I got everything shipped to my door for $720.00. It is worth the call to get a better deal. I was just going to go with the Yukon nodular for $279.00 but he said he would upgrade me for only $20.00. Very fast shipping I ordered on tuesday afternoon and had it friday.
