Friday night cruise

-trying to get as many people as i can at least once a month for starters to participate in a nice big ol'fashioned cruise and run.
will be in Point of course, possibly the first friday of each month. Cruise will go from the "SPOT" aka shopko parking lot past campus, over to checks muffler, then up town to the old walmart, then to the new walmart, then HH to 51, and back to the spot? Now the action in Point has been sort of ..."lacking" lately, so i'm trying to find a good way to jumpstart the old spark and get that dam parking lot all filled up like we used to get it. Now I would like to keep the high school hick crud to a minimum.
Also, perhaps a photoshoot afterwards??, and then of course those who want to stay for match-ups are more then welcome and of course smack talk is completly encouraged. So bring your stuff, and get ready.

sounds like a good plan to me! I remember the night of the Point guys vs the Rosholt guys. I think there was 7 or 8 of us that pounded into point that night. Highlight of the night was Retzke's garage built nova vs Kent's "Goodwin" built chevelle:sleeping: One of the best nights ever!

awesome, i'm glad to get some support on this. I posted this on cwscc as well and it seems noone over there cares???
I remember in high school cruise night were huge!!! I lived in New Mexico during high school, and we used to drive to Clovis for the cruise nights. Cars cars cars, just cruising down main slow, just chillin and having a great time. I dont see why nobody does that here anymore? Cruising is a huge part of the car culture, as it allows us to show off our hard work, have a good time, find nnew cars to have a good match against, and well, lets be serious. in high school we cruised to pick up and show off for the ladies..lol.
Call me old fashioned, but no matter what kind of car you have, cruising is fun. So lets make this all official, tell your buddies, and we can make this a regular attraction again, just like back in the old days.
