looking into buying a nice new loud exhaust. (for my truck) Any good shops in the central WI area. what kind of brand and styles do you like. looking to spend around $400-500 or so but pricing can vary.

I like Magnaflow. Furo Racecraft will be recommended by pretty much everyone here.

Harrison motors in Oshkosh does some nice work, Badger state tire in Berlin does custom exhaust also. Theres lots of places if you just call around. Or you can buy the bends and some tubing and just make it yourself. They make pre-bent tailpipes for about any vehicle out there. As for mufflers thats personnal choice but if you want it loud, nothing beats a good old fashion glass pac.

yeah i will probably stop into Furo on monday to get some more ideas and prices. i want to go with a dual exhaust. do ya think should i go with a true dual exhaust...(if i can afford it) or a dual cat-back. here is also a stupid question that i have wondered about. besides the obvious design difference between a X-pipe and a H-pipe, is there much difference between the two when it comes to price, sound, performance, etc?

H pipe just balances the pressures, X pipe does that, and increases scavanging resulting in more power while smoothing out the exhaust note

furo is top of the line and does excellent work. i'm more than happy with my x pipe he did. not only sounds amazing but looks the best. will probably last a long time too..
