Draw back of both, noisy and the rod ends should be replaced every season. 4 links have more adjustability than ladder bars.
I am sure someone else can add more to this.
Why are you asking? Is this pertaining to your car? On a 10 inch tire Mustang it is unnessesary to change the style of the stock suspension. There are alot of stock type suspension Mustangs running in the 8s on a 10.5 tire. Mustangs are blessed with good hooking suspensions.

It used to be that a ladder bar system allowed for very limited adjustments of the instant center of the vehicle while a 4 link provided an almost infinite amount. However, a good chassis guy can design/build a ladder bar for a car and have it perform nearly as well as a 4 link. The cutting edge chassis shops are building what is called a ladder-link system...which will give you the best of both worlds. Technically it's an adjustable ladder bar with the mouning brackets of a 4 link.

That is what the kit looks like Dave. A ladder bar with the 4 link brakets. This is actaully for Mike's truck.

If you want to see a really trick ladder bar system go to Skinny Kids web site and look through the photo section. I've never seen kits designed like this...but i haven't looked at kits in quite a while. If you can find one like his that's what i'd suggest you get. You can take convert the ladder bars into a 4 link and vice versa with his setup. It's the shit.....

I guess that my Dad just picked up a 4 link for him in Florida today.

Do you think he needs an anti-rollbar now???

Depends on the power he'll be making and how you set the rear suspension up.....but i seriously doubt it.

If it sees any street time, I think the anti-rollbar is a good idea, specially on a truck.
