Can you use the "optima" style batteries in a hatch Mustang legally without using a battery box? :wavey:

you need a battery box in a hatchback with a vent tube to the outside.

but optima batteries are 100% sealed..

But without a box the posts are still exposed. Besides isn't it just easier to have it all done and not have to worry about having to argue with a tech guy and possibly not be able to run?

the optima is a gell cell battery and does not have 2 be in a box or vented
