You'll recall the negotiator saying "In Wisconsin, that's an 8.80 car" as he pointed at the mustang----They said "No way!" Well funny thing is, I was pokin' around on ebay :bad_link: and found a "Pinto" that looked familiar, and sure enough, it's listed as going 8.79 in the 1/4....at 153. Nice matchup there Pritchett. There's even a link in the listing to a preview of the episode with the wagon.

Even more entertaining in that video, toward the end you see that dumb ass Rich run in front of the Mustang and jump over the wall like he sometimes does after he starts the race. What a tool bag.

I thought Rich was the biggest tool in that episode! Negotiations would have been more fair without him in the middle of it.Whats he care?wasnt his car!:my_2_cent

He obviously knew the car because the car was/is an 8.80 car.

Went back and reviewed the tape, didn't hear any of the following - dat, dar, aw, da, doon, or dar's ... I did hear a "don't none of you lie"--but there was no reference to lye, a corrosive alkaline substance commonly known as sodium hydroxide, NaOH:my_2_cent

Even better yet Outlaw.1----Why don't you get a car together that went 10.40's on the motor and weighed over 4300#'s plus the driver(Pritchett didn't want anything faster than a 10.50 car), spend a bunch of time-working on it, dialing the junk in, testing at WIR and the Grove and on the street, and finding the right combination (when you'd rather be doing things to your own car and racing it), then haul it to Alabama only to get tooled by some of Nate's buddies with an 8 second mustang and a renegade mustang pro driver, then tape a TV show knowing that the other car can drive around you like you're looking for somewhere to park, and still keep your wits together even though you want to use Nate as a punching bag....When you do that, then you can bust his balls..You weren't there and you don't know how it went down:moon:

lmao ,so what your asking me to do, is go to the race knowing the other car is 10 times the car and still lose the car! um no thats the point!

the car was lost cause a tool tooled another set of tools!

dat right dar is what happened!

10 people that watched the show from wisconsin were proud, the rest changed there mailing address!

i really dont care how much work and testing went in to the car, it could have been a 10.4 car they still would have won ( they won before the key was turned)
