Hey ya'll,
New owner in stevens point here. Bought a 1985 GT 5-speed. Quite a lot of work done to the car from the previous owner. Some of you may have seen it on the corner of Dixon and Michigan. Bought the car and like always, shit goes downhill so I was gonna sell it. Worked things out, had fun with the car, blew the engine (block had about 200k on it, everything else about 10k). Wanted it to blow so I could rebuild it. Now Im throwing around the idea of a 351W so if anyone out their has a short block or long block for cheap (i mean cheap) let me know

Thanks for the reply's guys. Their is quite a bit done to the car, not all performance mods tho. Next step is hopefully a 351W and a repaint. Not sure on the color, gotta be painted around the color of the rims so any idea's on color is a plus, but gonna keep the rims silver.

That's the price you have to pay for not living around swamps, excellent state university's and tech schools, quality EMS, good highways, and people that speak English. LOL This state gets 10's of thousands of tourists every year. I've seen enough of Florida on "Cops". :my_2_cent Again...welcome to WI.

I've been down that road with my son after my divorce. If you've got faith it will get better. We didn't have enough money to buy a subscription to Hot Rod Magazine and now we've got a pretty nice racing program. Portage County is going to give you more help than any of the surrounding counties. Might have a group at Shopko tonight, I'll have my 17 sec. Buick Le Sabre. LOL P.M. me if there is anything I can help with.
