its next weekend, anyone going? for those that never went it is a pretty big show for around here and lots of great food!

We do plan on attending and here are the weekends events if anyone is interested!

Oct. 4
7 a.m. to 10 a.m. -- Registration for giant pumpkin, fruit and vegetable weigh-off

9 a.m. to 7 p.m. -- Antique tractor and small engine show

10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. -- Pumpkin decorating contest for kids

10:30 a.m. -- Scheer's lumberjack show

11 a.m. -- Pumpkin 5K run/walk; registration from 8 a.m. to 9:45 a.m.

11 a.m. -- Children's puppet show

Noon to 4 p.m. -- Jerry Schmidt & Country Express

12:30 p.m. -- Scheer's lumberjack show

1:30 p.m. -- Children's game show with puppets

2 p.m. -- Children's parade; starts at Solarus Pumpkin Pavilion

2:30 p.m. -- Scheer's lumberjack show

2:45 p.m. -- Awards ceremony

3 p.m. -- Children's puppet show

3:45 p.m. -- Giant pumpkin prop

Oct. 5
9 a.m. -- Classic car show; registration from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

10:30 a.m. -- Outdoor polka Mass; music by Fritz Willfahrt Orchestra

11:30 a.m. -- Scheer's lumberjack show

11:45 a.m. -- Judging begins for great pumpkin bake-off; register by 11:30 a.m.

Noon -- Judging begins for pumpkin carving contest

1 p.m. -- Scheer's lumberjack show

2 p.m. -- Giant pumpkin boat regatta; participants may work on boats beginning at 8 a.m. Oct. 5.

3 p.m. -- Scheer's lumberjack show

3 p.m. -- Awards ceremony

Ongoing events
A craft show, farm and flea market, professional pumpkin carver, professional chain saw carver, children's games and activities, and food and refreshments will be available both days

last year was fun it was the first time attending and there was alot of cars there and the pumpkins they have there are insain. ill be there this year

Did you guys just go to the show or the cruise also. Was there a good turnout for the show today? I had to work 3-11 today and it was cold and crappy and i just couldn't get into the mood to go.

id say it was biggest turnout in all the years i been going, id guess 300-400 cars???
