I wonder if that is the same Big 3 that is famous in the Milwaukee area for ripping guys off and beating the hell out of customer cars. I know ScottyK used to work with them for a short while. Could be different guys I guess.

I believe it is. I heard the guy was from Shawano but if you look them up on the web I see some of the cars at their new Green Bay shop that are in the photo's that have their B3P shop in the background in Milwaukee.

Rumor has it the owner of this place went to Beyond Redline pissed up and was telling Luke that he is going to put him out of business.

I had a job interview there today :wall:
I will be meeting with the owner sometime next week for more details .
The dyno is awesome and the facility nice new and clean the way a shop should be .
Don't judge the place by what happens at another shop . They seem to have some high goals set and they won't be meeting them if they don't treat the customer right . pretty simple .
As far as putting beyond redline out of business . That did not seem to be one of the goals .
If I decide to work there . nobody's car will be getting beat to death !!!!
and quality on my part will be 100% or it does not go out the door . :rockon1:

We will see. I got the dragbike back together after blowing the chain off on the starting line . and I'm working on the Bandit big bore mod . I'd like to get some runs on that biatch . 907cc 14to1 ported head . I'm sure it will scare me

Its not another shop, its the same guys, except for one apparantly. I'm not saying "Dont go there for the job", I'm just saying some research has shown that nobody with the internet will go there, they will only be able to rip off customers that arent on any local Wisconsin message boards.
Hell, they drove one dudes Viper Convertible in the salt and snow and never bother to even wash it afterwards, not to mention they f'd up his tune and he had to take it to Done Rite so it would run.

They drive past with some pretty badass sounding stuff(turbo'ed Hummer, blown Escalade). I'm not going to say anything either way until I meet these people. They obviously have alot of $$$. They bought a $250,000 building and totally gutted it including the concrete and installed the dyno and a drive on rack so they are flush with the floor and installed a bunch of hoists along with doing all of the interior of the building.

That sounds pretty bad . I used to work for a jerk in the U.P. that would hammer on customer cars . It is well known that I do not get along with that fella .
I'm the kind of guy who actually cares about the customer and his project . I know the value of word of mouth . and you can do 100 jobs with perfect satisfaction and 1 that is f-ed up . that one f-ed up job can ruin your business :Word:

What kind of dyno?
1fastdeuce
08-27-2008, 08:49 PM
Not sure. Just heard that it is a four wheel dyno that is flush with the floor so cars that sit low will have no problem getting on it. I guess I will find out the day of the grand opening.

it is a eddy current dyno . looks awesome . it can simulate a 1/4 mile pass as well . it has a full tree set up in front of it . overkill on the safety chains etc. definetly big dollar item

I heard its a Mustang dyno. Which is fine if they are used properly, but they can easily be calibrated to give false inflated hp numbers. Which I have already heard rumors about this company doing to some of their cars to pump up their buisness.

All chassis dynos are easy to manipulate.

Any dyno can can give incorrect info.Either from operater lack of knowledge or lying to it.Have seen alot of bad dyno sheets.Bad part is the customers dont even know they been had.

Thats why the numbers are only used as a reference during tuning.
Mine made 265 on the dyno and we all know that was inflated.

Yeah, that's what I was getting at.......your numbers being inflated. Mine made 173 and that is really inflated. I think they were just trying to make me happy.

I say let's give em a chance , and see if they are a good business .
People naturally like to talk about the negative side of everything .
And everything has a negative side .
Just like WIR some people love the place and some don't WTF ever :bub:
