heres the problem. i sent my 8in coan converter to get tightened up and i think they did it correctly. now my question is this. i have 3:73 in the rear and im going to assume that i should go down. its got a pony down turbo system and a pro comp pa.it had a procharger setup and thats why i went with the 373 setup. which gears would you guys recommend for the turbo setup? im going to run out of top end quickly the way its setup now

Where does the engine make peak power and how much power? How tall are the tires?

i have not run with the slicks yet but its been on the 17in cobras and seems to really like low end.i can be in the top of third gear in no time with it windind out at about 6 grand. we had it dynoed saturday and it really didnt have a peak it just kept going we decided to stop it at about 6500 rpm's. the converter works great on the street but im concerned that it will wind out at the track. it made about 400 horse at 9lbs of boost and bob said we could go to 15 lbs on the meth.if we increase the horsepower im wondering if it will not wind up as quickly?

With more power it will wind up quicker. I'd try it with the 3.73 gears and see where the rpm is at when you cross the finish line.
