avatar problem

i am trying to put a picture of my car in for my avatar but it keeps saying it has to many bytes??????i made the picture smaller it is in my garage picture what am i doin wrong?

Its too big. The max file size alowed is 150x150, your pic is 175x175.

i made some smaller and instead of thepixels being to big it says it has to many bytes how do i fix this????????

right click, save, paste in avatar

well cevan i tried i can save it cant paste it that option is not able to be highlighted then it says file is not a jmp file
